Zhang Wei’s works

In 1988, he graduated from the Middle School Attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and was admitted to the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in the same year. In 1989, he won a scholarship from the State Education Commission and was sent to the Soviet Union to study abroad. In 1996, he graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia, with a Master of Fine Arts. In 2015, he received a doctorate in fine arts. Since 1996, he has taught at the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently the deputy director and professor of the Department of Sculpture, a doctoral tutor, and a tutor of the Sixth Studio.
