When he was in school, Liu Qing often commuted between Xiangtan and Beijing, the two distant cities. The green-skin train took nearly a whole day. He was pushed in by the adults through the car window. There was no room for his toes in the car. He was squeezed and swayed with the vibration of the wheels. All the way, he observed these travelers who were full of oil. . Therefore, Liu Qing’s undergraduate work “T61” finally takes the people waiting in the waiting room as the theme to create a section of life to express the microcosm of society in his eyes. Since then, he has started to create a series of character sculptures, “Line 13”, “Hey! eggplant! “, “G4472” and so on.
